    Ah, that explains it then. I can just picture the wife and her mom in such a situation, trust me, it wouldn't go down quite as nicely. Oil and water if you know what I mean.

    Ahhh.....yes, my ex thought my mom and I argued a lot, but we're actually just cut from the same cloth, and like to complain a lot. So a conversation between the 2 of us can sound like an argument. :o

    Yep that's it. Holidays that include the wife, her mom and her 2 sisters are not the most delightful of times for me. Sounds like a war zone at times. Then come time for everyone to leave, they all become the best of friends with all sorts of hugs and promises to call each other and get together again real soon. :rolleyes:

    So bill no fireworks!?!?! That stinks. We live outside of the city limits so we are gonna do some small ones here tonight and then go somewhere around here tomorrow to watch the big professional ones...

    Just the local Village that I live in, that just happens to be the one we went to every year, even when we lived in a neighboring town. Some of the other towns fairly nearby us are having them, but my kids are all teens now and don't have to go to them like we used to. Actually it will be a nice change for the 4th of not having to jockey for a good viewing spot then fighting the crowds to leave.
