Thank you, Perry. The splash is a magnificent scent, no doubt. I cannot speak to how close it is to the original Floid Blue, but I know this is a quality product regardless. The only thing I didn't like has been rectified- he used to dye the product a bright blue which I found completely unnecessary. It is clear now, I believe.

Glad to hear the scent ended up working for you, Tim. I have expanded my scents into accords I never thought I would the past 3 years as well.
Now, as to the irritation- bin the splash. I had a redness that came with Sharp Dressed Man. Love the scent, didn't need to resemble a clown. Too many good scents out there to keep one that clearly doesn't jive with your skin. I don't think you did anything in your technique to have this reaction. Buh bye Tsuka, imho.
Too bad you didn't get the Clubman instead- if that one didn't work out at least you could've cleaned paint brushes with it...:happy036:

Lovely shave, Blair! I really like the Oud fragrance too! Wholly Kaw’s King of Oud is one of my regular go to soaps!

Not usually the hugest fan of lavender, but I will say that I was intrigued when Jim described it earlier this month. Weird. I like it coming from the flower, but from products it tends to be a bit strident for me.

As always, fantastic photo. That brush handle is amazing :D

Sorry about the cold, hope you feel better soon! That AS experience sounds odd for such a well-received high end product. Maybe you got a second or a a glitchy part of the mix. I’d let them know.

Beautiful image, and great shave report! The Tatara sound a bit like the AS-D2.

    Wonderful report, Tim!
Stirling Bay Rum witch hazel and aftershave give me that burn you describe. I love it! I blame the cinnamon, or is it I thank the cinnamon?

Great shave, Jim! I like Lavender, but have found most of the PAA scents in his soaps and AS to be much too strident for me! I like his Preshave Soap, but that’s about it.

Beautiful photo, Jim. I've yet to find too much sandalwood in anything I've tried, but like Jeff, I'm also a bit of a nasal barbarian--and I haven't tried a ton of sandalwood products either. The "Jim's" have really been hitting it out of the park with the brush handles today. Really like the looks of that :D

Awesome Arko shave, Tom. I'm showing my ignorance here, but I didn't know they made a shave cream or balm. Love that Gillette!

Great shave report and image as usual. Was surprised by your lack of enthusiasm for a PAA product. Enjoy your day!

By the way, Jeff, when did the Custom Title happen? I remember the comment, but didn't know it became official. Congrats, @jgreenepa!

Awesome photo and shave, Danny. I don't know what the deal is, but I love black shave hardware. That SC Unity looks like an amazing scent profile, btw. :D

That is a stunningly beautiful view, Jeff. Living the high life... quite literally.

Sorry to hear that things went so poorly yesterday. Hope everything's resolved, and that you're back to your normal self soon. Sounds lie the shave today helped make up for some of yesterday's frustrations, though. Wonderful! :)
