    Wow! Cold water shaving? Love it. Cold shower... not so much. Sorry to hear about your struggles with the water and too dry AS, but I find that Stirling balms definitely make hobbling along a lot easier.

    Beautiful brush and razor combo, btw. Here's to a warm-water future for you--and soon! ;)

    Super, luxurious looking shave, Blair. Sorry to hear the cleanup for what otherwise sounds like a fantastic soap is so laborsome. The brush and scales match up perfectly. :D

    Though the daily subject matter has greatly broadened since the beginning, my original goal was to create exactly what Clint mentions. This is the place where new converts can freely interact without having to walk on eggshells, worry about having their gear disparaged and can get the answers to those "dumb questions" without scorn. As time went on, more and more people were readily absorbed into thread culture. I believe, that while under Neal's leadership, this thread matured into an institution of its own and became the most vital thread in all the shaving forums. Hard to believe it's been five years.

    I'll have to noodle a bit on those two field watches. Both are very nice examples for different reasons. Back soon on my thoughts. @b1hart is a Baby Grand Snowflake guy, so I doubt you'll get much input from him. :D
