    Mine is thicker than a regular splash. I add glycerin to all my splashes so I’ve had no issues with it drying my skin.

    Back in mid 2019, leftover soap/cream residue got a few 30DC mentions for various manufacturers/artisans. Just threw that extra data point in...it was pretty surprising. I've got one other AoS cream...I'll put it through the paces tomorrow to see if it's any different. It would probably be the 'latest' formula, as I purchased in May 2019, and it's an aroma introduced about that same time, so it wouldn't have been sitting in their inventory much more than that timeframe I would think.

    As a relative newcomer to this forum-based shaving world, and a soon-to-be great-grandfather, I can say that this thread is what differentiates TSD from all the other shaving forums. The warmth and welcome I received is unique among the forums, although The Shaving Cadre comes close. It’s just much smaller, and doesn’t have anywhere near the interesting cast of characters you run across here, from ‘El Scratcho’ (@9nein9, Patrick) to our own ‘Razor McGyver’ (@Terry) there’s always bantering, gentle teasing and just a great old time going on in a genuine learning environment. If you’re the creator of this, you should be proud of the tradition of support and caring you created that we all enjoy. By the way, welcome back, I look forward to more of your postings.
