  2. I saw my name mentioned and was trying to recall that NB '18 bet. Not sure I remember how that ended. Oh......wait........I think it's coming back now..........

Go ahead and order that Karve. You earned it. Besides, you can't let @Screwtape have all the fun.

  4. I can see the effects on kids today. My 11 year old lost her internet privileges a few times . I blame myself. I never had a phone at her age. If I wanted privacy I had to walk a 1/4 mile to phone booth.
  5. If I'd had social media in HS, I'd be dead or incarcerated.

Keep children pure, the internet is good for them. They need people.

  6. Wait, you really think that Charlie @wristwatchb actually lives among and knows about the "common man"? Haven't you figured out his biggest ruse? He calls YOU Mr. Fancypants (Which you are, by the way so I'm not letting you off the hook), but notice how HE'S the one that just "vacationed" on the beach in Florida for the month!!!!! AND.....he bought the Ted Drew's Custard for all of us last summer too, if you remember. And those watches????? I should probably stop. I've said too much.
  7. I agree on both points . Oh boy I'm thankful to grow up when and how I did.

  9. Please, Sam, call me Elmer.

I'm fairly sure @b1hart is not familiar with the procedure outlined on p. 541 of The Cartel Handbook. These new guys jump in and start buying stuff from Stirling, PAA, and anybody else that comes along. They never take time to read the play book, and that's how we get 'em. That waskel will be self-actualized before he finishes his next bunch of carrots (Daucus carota subsp. sativus). He knows to watch out for me (the dumb one) and @BaylorGator (the genius). Little does he know, Sam, that you're our secret weapon this time around. It's great to have you on the team! Wile E. and I will have our people contact your people to finalize the arrangements. We'll "shoot" for a conference next week. ;)

Just between us, you won't make any friends around here if you keep shaving with the plastic thingy.

    TTFN.

  10. no sir.this "always on" culture burns people up and spits them out when they are not as functional or slower.i am glad i retired off of the benches and service write now.could never keep the bosses happy or produce enough..young mans game..i like the work smarter not harder culture these days..glad i am semi retired, poorer cash wise but way less stressed.
thank you Chris.as a mechanic i couldn't really wear them.now i can as a service writer, even dress up a little.my shaves every morning are stellar and the improved complexion shows it.maybe time to dress it up a little..new shirt, haircut and a watch .good point.thank you..:)
  11. Very nice start to the month! The DE89L was one of my first buys as well. Works great. Better than it sometimes gets credit for. I'm not sure how the gap compares to a Super Speed but the head geometry is definitely different which probably accounts for most of the "aggressive feel" when compared to a Flare Tip.
  12. cool brush..

  13. You may have received some answers I haven't seen yet but I don't think you can hurt a Super Speed, or any other razor for that matter, by boiling it. Well, any razor that doesn't include plastic. I've never done that, preferring to use alcohol or other disinfectants, but I'm sure a short boil to sanitize or help remove stubborn grime wouldn't effect the finish. If someone else gave you different info that they verified then this answer can be easily ignored.
  14. Handle courtesy of the artistry of @jtspartan . AP Shaveco SynBad Flare knot provided courtesy of the good taste of @Screwtape . It's always good to have some Canadian friends around. Especially ones who bet.
  15. Marvin will keep watch..:D.. images (2).jpg and blow the interlopers to smithereens..

  17. I'll explain them to all the younger guys.......once they get off my lawn!!!
