    February 3rd
    Razor: Razorock Wunderbar Slant
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum (2)
    Brush: WWB Limedrop/TDR Fanchurian
    Pre-shave: PAA The Cube
    Soap: PAA Will-o'-the-Wisp
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA unscented Star Jelly
    AS: PAA Will-o'-the-Wisp

    Good morning

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Slightly warmer than usual alum.

I was going to use the Ambassador but it didn't have a blade in it. I'm trying to go through my razors that have unspent blades this month, so I took inspiration from @NCoxSTL and reached for the Wunderbar. It left me nice and smooth, also one weeper at the corner of my mouth.

The PAA focus has run its course. Will-o'-the-Wisp for the finish. My nose gets a sweet cinnamon, maybe. Really difficult to describe. I do like it a lot and I'm happy every time it makes it into the rotation.

    From PAA:

Soap Scent Profile: Wormwood, Hungarian Oak, Absinthe, Neroli, Amyris, Elderberry, Burnt Sugar, Tobacco, FEAR Absolute.

    Have a great week! [IMG]

Great shave Jim! I also sent all the blades laying around with x amount of shaves on them to Valhalla before I started the rule. After awhile a guy loses track if you dont mark them.....which I dont.

Sounds like you had a great Sunday Chris. I dont watch football but in my defence I am a "Canadian" and prefer watching a frozen rubber disc getting slapped around. Hope your week goes well my friend!

You can bet your boots it is Gary! Slicker than the tub and more minty than eucalyptus smelling I find. I've seen you use the yellow before . Does it come in the tubes also?

    Thanks, Patrick!

When I did No Repeat November I used a different blade in each razor. I now have several razors with a one use blade in them. I'll see how many of them I can get through this month.

Oh boy! You have your work cut out for you there . I used to put a dot on the blades every time I used them but that habit didnt last long. I find now when I use a blade I have a better idea if its dull or sharp. Chalk it up to experience you could say.

I'll usually stick with a razor until the blade is spent. I know if a razor was put away with a blade in it it only has one use. The SE's are going to slow me down. I usually get five or six shaves out of them.

Thats a good idea. I know with some blades , Rapira Platinum for example I was pushing out up to 10 shaves per blade when I was keeping track. Others I may get 2-5 . Dont last as long doing headshaves either . With carts I got maybe 2 head and face then tossed them . Wasnt cheap at 5 bucks a pop.

The theme of today's shave is "Bloody Monday". As the theme suggest the shave was not without drama and certainly not the smoothest shave. I still don't know what happened but I managed to gut myself on the first pass (N to S) on the bottom of my left neck. I don't recall every cutting myself in that location. In finishing the first pass I ended up with several more weepers. I stuck with the razor and finished the next 2 passes without further drama. In for a penny in for a pound, I touched up my jawline and buffed my lower right necks. Whew. No more blood. I did catch the baby but had to get the styptic pencil so stop the flow of blood. And yes the aftershave did sting. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
