If you recall, I did a side by side comparison of the two a month or so ago. To me the face feel of the two were identical. The aluminum did skip a little for me in the first pass with heavy beard growth, that was cured by putting the head in a nice heavy SS handle.

Proraso cream is fantastic. I may eventually try the AS and possibly their Sandalwood products. I figure there's always room for one cream in my Den, and Proraso easily makes my Top 5. I like that I can't get it locally (as C.O. Bigelow) at Bath and Body Works.
