Thanks for the comparison, Andy. I didn’t see this yesterday, and was always interested in the Carbon. I also have the H&S No75, and love the way it shaves. I just traded the C handle (3 3/4”) for the B handle (3 1/4”) as I like shorter handles. Great review!

    Really nice setup!

Nice image effect, great scent description....another PAA sample added to the ever growing cart.

    Very cool image Mark!

Nice quick shave with this setup Joe!

Awesome details and report Jeff! That Florida Water bottle is fun. Cool looking brush too. Happy birthday to you and yours! And you may just enable me on the PAA Cube 2.0 with the matching tray, at least when my Tube 2.0 runs out.

I’ve just taken some comparison photos of the Carbon compared to a few other modern razors Jim.

Hopefully this will help give a better representation of the difference in size and show how small the head of the Carbon actually is.

Really nice image with this setup Jason! Hopefully the shave with some favorites and lots of rest today has you feeling a little better.

Thanks, Jim! Boy was that a terrific Shake Sharp Shave this morning! :D

You know what, I think I’ll shave with the nickel-plated GE JONES SHAKE SHARP tomorrow on my birthday, and even better, I’ll shave with the gold tone GE JONES SHAKE SHARP the day after that. :bounce015:

I don’t know if you remember, but my buddy, Joe (@Trigger) did mention that it’s practically impossible to cut oneself with that razor! You know you want one. :happy069: :happy088:

Thanks for the comparison pictures, Andy. I do like the thin baseplate on the Carbon. Gives it a sleek appearance. Fortunately they are currently sold out.

Hopefully it's a good busy Danny. Hard to keep up with this crew and pace lately.... Nice to see that razor!

So...on that idea. Where my wife works, it's an international postal company. They put out a bulletin today, obviously about international travel to the area, but also a little of an advisory with imported food products, particularly fresh foods (meat/poultry/seafood). We have a number of small pockets of cultures around the DFW area, and several large grocery stores importing fresh food from their native countries (and we sometimes do shop for variety).

Don't know if that is a warranted bulletin yet, as I've not done any research or seen any news on this angle, but that did give the wifey and I pause to think on shopping at these places for a bit.

Great shave report, Tim! Sounds like the old muscle memory for that German 37 slant remained. I’m not a slant guy, and PIFed mine away some time ago, but know that many folk swear by them. It doesn’t mean there’s no slant in my future. Shaves like yours pique my interest. So, thank you! Sounds like a decent shave. You’re really focused on details, which is great, but sometimes it also pays to step back and appreciate the overall gestalt of the shave. Overall, it sound like a good solid shave! Hope you enjoyed it!

Joe, you can always use stacked Feathers in the Shake Sharp. It really does pump up the efficiency.

Sorry to hear your Monday started so rough, Clint. So weird how shaving can seem almost automatically easy, and then... :signs081:

    Here's to a terrific Tuesday shave... ;)

Sounds like a wonderful shave. There is something kind of relaxing about not chasing a result. Btw, I've said it before, but I really like the looks of that Black Hawk :D

Beautiful photo, Jim. I know I should turn the other way when someone says "sulfur" in a scent description, but reading your description makes me want to say...
