  1. Yikes Blair! I think 99% of cuts from straights or shavettes are caused by setdown. Hope it heals fast.

  2. Very entertaining shave report, Joseph! I enjoyed it!
  3. Good to hear Supply is getting good backing. I really enjoyed that run you let me take the razor on- liked the smoothness of the 2 dot plate and the efficiency of the 3 dot. Three passes with one or two with the other, iirc.
  4. You keep peeling these unique creams off the deck, Tom. Very interesting collection for sure.
  5. Such a classy looking combo, Perry. Those B1 repeaters are such a cool looking Art Deco design and Jim's brush looks fantastic.
  6. Sorry about the shave, Tim. But I don’t always buy into the technique trumps tools argument around here. Yes, technique is important, but I do believe that there are some shaving tools that are just not meant for us. In my case I think it may be the Rex Ambassador, in yours it may be the Variant. Again, this is just my opinion,YMMV
  7. Very nice pic as always, Jim. What do you think of the Fern? I like it, but have a few Fougeres that I definitely put above it.
  8. Great to see you posting again, Danny. Great soap, awesome one-off razor, cool vintage brush. You, sir, have arrived.
  9. Good morning, Gary. Lovely blues in the pic. No snow here. -9C and crystal blue skies.
  10. Sounds like a much better shave today, Clint. Good job on the soap, too. You have a real skill for it...:)
  11. Everytime I see that brush, Mark, I always try to picture the resin being poured for it. Very cool.
  12. Happy Birthday again, Jeff! Yes, that is a very heavy handle indeed. I find large resin handles quite heavy at times even, especially when you've used a wood one for a few days.
  13. Great looking shave, Tom. I've yet to try the Classic Vanilla.

  15. High praise indeed on the scent, Jim! Safe travels to the coast.
  16. Entertaining as always, Joseph! I think you have found the ideal target audience for The Veg- male investigative reporters who stake out in other peoples bathrooms...:signs002:
  17. Thank you, Jason.
I like Fern. Along the same lines is B&M Beaudelaire which I prefer over Fern. Felce Aromatica takes on more of a cologne vibe to my nose than these two. Darker is B&M Fougére Gothique.
  18. +1 on Bieber tattoo, good call

  19. (Understands completely and nods head slowly in agreement)
No need to apologize, Tim. Maybe the Dead is Dead focus was unrealistic.
  20. Love the combo, Blair. Looks like Keith has quite a few hot scuttle disciples this month too!
