Today I noticed how nice it is not to have to concentrate on adjusting my technique for a specific razor. I've used the RedTip enough I get good results with it but I do always have to pay attention. Interesting. I'm still switching things up because I love lots of razors.

Blood free BBS shave after 3 passes. Managed to shave in record time after getting up late, after being up late compairing watches. Thanks Charlie! @wristwatchb. I always wanted a nice watch and thankfully my wife remembered me talking about it years ago. Otherwise all of TSD would be on probation. As it was she just said, "I knew it was coming." She was surprised I made it this long.

Oh yeah, the lather was great. MWF is awesome, all the standard stuff I say all the time.

Thanks Jason, I ordered a bunch of round stock to make more of these brush handles. Not sure what I'll do with them, but making them is fun, if I can get out to my lathe. When I'm not busy, it's COLD out in my shop...

I ordered a Seiko SSG021. It's a little gadget heavy with the radio sync, solar powered, world time, chronograph, but it goes back to my seeing one a lot like it when I was a teenager. I wrestled back and forth between a childhood dream and the coolness of an automatic diver. Then I decided to get this first and start laying prep for the divers watch for Father's day or my birthday.

I made a mistake with a solar powered watch I had. I put it into the box I keep my watches in. Apparently I had it in there too long. Once the battery went completely dead there was no bringing it back.
