my son had a generalized allergic reaction (hives) to ant bites today while at day school. it was scary enough that we took him to the doctor. it was a skin reaction only, but the doctor had me wait around with him for 40 mins. just to make sure.

we've got a prescription for an epi pen now. doctor says the next time could very well be worse. there's only so much you can do to prevent ant bites when you live in louisiana.

Mike, sorry to hear that. Is he the 5 year old?

At least you will have an epipen available now. But still scary even then

    Nasty to hear Mike.

I am a bit perturbed. Got scammed over across the street.

close- he's three. I'm glad we know about the allergy now and that it was only a skin reaction, this time. We'll have the pen for next time.

scammed? enquiring minds want to know more.

Cammyfive. Name is Ed Camden. He sold me 1805 cream and splash. Also sold it to several other people collecting all our money and not sending it to any of us.

okay, anyone who would willingly subject themselves to intentionally driving in big super-cities is crazy....anyone who says they enjoy it is mentally insane

I HATE driving in/around Dallas....please, someone drop 40 tons of rubiks cubes on me instead

Ugh.. sorry to hear that. The swindler...^&)$@*^ :angry021.. go get him Officer Ray!

Yeah... no kidding. I just did the downtown Chicago thing Tuesday. I am so done with big city driving for the summer. Oh wait... I am going on a trip to Cincinnati and Indianapolis for the next few days. Nothing related to shaving... just family stuff.

I might check in tomorrow morning, but then I won't see you all until Monday night... have a good weekend everyone! I have my shave gear in a bag all ready to go. I just need to make sure that I don't forget to grab the bag. I get a kick out of how compact I am getting my travel kit. In a soap container I have a razor, pre-shave oil, witch hazel blend, and A/S (Iced Subzero of course), toothpicks, floss, and some other toiletry items.... that gluestick? No... that's a mini-shave stick... and that spice bottle is really a shaving brush.

So while I am packing things up, wife is sitting at her computer looking up different museums, zoos, etc to tie up what little off time we will have. ugh

By the way... whoever recommended those CVS injector blades... thanks!
I'm about three shaves into my first one and I'm very pleased with the smoothness.

Good afternoon everyone! It's been a nice day today. It's kind of a shame I slept through it all.

If you've got a nice block of time and don't mind a good chunk of reading, I've posted a review of Florida Water Cologne for the weekly chat thing.

I've been quite happy with them as well. They provide a smooth shave for a decent price. I've got some Ted Pellas coming in that I'll be comparing them to shortly.

I'm thinking I might look for another Injector as well... I think I might be becoming a fan.

Oh, and my Shave King got here today.
I might post pics later if I get a chance. It's my work weekend so it'll probably slip my mind.

    Meh, it's the weekend.
Low post count over the weekend seems to be the norm.
It's summer, people are doing stuff.

I'm so freaking frustrated! Because some person doesn't know how to use a drop down menu, nor how to contact customer service when there's a problem. I'm dealing with a Paypal Dispute. Except they closed the case when I escalated the dispute to a claim. I don't understand. I can't even tell if they refunded the guy the money or what.

Some of you guys have seen the invoices that come in your TSD Store orders, right? It says the product name/title, then the product chosen. Is it confusing?

    From the guy;
It really bothers me that he never even contacted me, before starting this BS through PP.

As the days go by I just feel like giving up more and more.

Don't let it get to you. Some people just need to look before the leap. And when they fall they like to blame someone else for their mistake. This sounds like another Pat Buchanan fiasco (no offense to anyone who likes him, I'm just talking about the voting problem) to me. Maybe the person needs to have someone holding their hand when they purchase things. I don't know if your store front software allows this but if you can I would make a null or empty default to the products that forces the customer to pick something. That could provide some idiot proofing. But still it's not like you are not shown your cart contents like 3 or 4 times before your transaction is complete. And still they could have contacted you after the order was made or even received to discuss the issue. He is reacting like you refused to talk to him but doesn't claim that he even tried to contact you. But I would contact Paypal about it by phone and find out what they did.
