Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Schick Plus Platinum
    Razor: Schick L5 'Revere' injector
    Brush: Sapele beehive badger
    Soap: Stirling Meghalaya
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Meghalaya aftershave

Easy shave with this combination. Tons of lather whipped up from the beehive brush and effortless shaving with the Revere injector. Everything came together in fine fashion.

    Enjoy your day!

    Wow, Perry! Gorgeous picture!
    Thanks!
I've got B&M LGC up for tomorrow. I'm going to load the brush till it can't take no more. Not really a fair comparison as I haven't used the Glissant base with water from the kettle.

I dont think many soaps will cut the mustard with the boiling water . I'll try the Proraso creme today and report back. Nice shave pic though Jim!

Wow, this week is going by fast. The Mondial Boar ate through the little soap remaining and whipped up a wonderful rick slick lather. This soap is done and dusted. I am really impressed with the Mondial Boar brush. It is breaking in very quickly and is working out very well. Onto the shave. The biggest news for the day is "NO BLOOD". From that standpoint the shave was drama free. However, the Rex is not close to automatic with me yet. Three passes and touch ups had the baby in range so I did risk touching up along my jawline and buffing my lower right neck. Whew, I chased the baby and didn't have to pay a price. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

    Thank you, Patrick!
PAA in the three different bases I have from them did ok. Light and airy in the scuttle but returned to normal as it started to cool on my face. I'm using a randomizer to choose my soaps this month so I should get a pretty good cross section to compare.

Great shave, albeit a few weepers left jaw.

    Have a great Wednesday, everyone.
