I just made my way over to the classical thread. You've been posting in there a bit recently, I see. It's nice to have some more company over there.

 

Yes, but as you can tell from my posts, I'm no expert. I also like some opera but if I was asked about the fine points I wouldn't have a clue. My ears just like it.

 

Well I just finished taking out 3 1/2 bushes.

I am beat. But our front yard is looking really nice now. I gunna take a shower and shave and crash for the night.

Wow... my first three hours at work tonight were a poop-storm.
In addition to maintenance on some of our systems, we had a lot of patching going on.
I had to coordinate efforts to get things straightened out.

See... some nights I actually earn my keep. :happy102

Oh, I made it through and I don't think I got any on me.

I just hope I didn't miss anything that turns out to be a problem later.
That's always a problem after a big migration or maintenance weekend.

 

Yaaaaaay, another weekend done. It's so nice to come home to four days off, especially after the mess of a weekend we've had. Dunno why it is, but it seems like we're getting more and more busy in a time that's supposed to be the "off season". This doesn't bode well for the actual busy season.

 

Drops a couple of chocolate fixes down the hole along with a good movie.

 

Looks like it was both slow and weird in here this weekend. I didn't catch up completely from last Friday, but skimmed enough to get the gist.

FWIW, I had a great weekend hanging out with two old friends (we all first met in 1969). Yesterday, we did a 16 hour road trip up to and through Glacier National Park. Took a zillion photos. I'm pooped but happy.

Today I hit some antique stores before driving back home. Picked up 6 razors (2 FH Techs, a flare-tip SS, two gems and a ball handled Tech). Also nabbed a big honkin' NOS boar brush, an aluminum Colgate shave stick canister, a cool Gillette blade case and some pens. Most of it came from one shop, during the last 15 minutes of business.

Dog tired tonight - just wanted to drop in and say hi.

Nice ride. I find that the Fujis are a grossly overlooked bike. Of course, I've only logged exactly 6 miles on mine in the 3 years I've owned it. I really am going to start riding it. But right now, it's just dangerous with this heat.

By the way, Jim, what are you doing Saturday? I think I'm ready to take that window unit out. How's your liftin' legs?
