Mine is more motivation than anything.
If you make a decision and you don't necessarily like it/or want to do it, than go ahead and go forward with that decision, who cares what others think, as long as you benefit from that decision later on down the road.

My motivation is a career in the Marines. There are things I don't necessarily like to do but then I think about my future for a second. If I wanna be a man, than I better not wait till basic training and starting acting like one before, in preparation.

Society has become very soft in ways, we need to stop letting things get to us. for an example
My ex started spreading rumors about me that could have ruined my reputation towards what others think of me, even though they were not true. Instead I didn't let her get to me, but rather Ignored her and moved on.

point is, Think of your future and block out any toxicity in your life and move forward. If you give in, your just going to be heading down a dark road.

Yes, the Marines will not make you something that you are not already. There are good Marines and bad Marines. It depends on what the Marines have to work with.....

 

Very true. I could tell you many stories about good marines and bad marines from other people I know. That goes for other branches as well of course.
