    Hi Dave,

    Long time no see.

Still thinking of making that video about converting an autostrop to become an SE stropper?

    How's married life treating you?

WOTW sounds like fun - might have to put that on while working on pens tonight!

well, I thought I was going to bed, but the wife has started watching Armageddon....there's a few scenes I can stand (when stuff gets blowed to smithereens), but other than that, no thanks

I made one - but didn't make video. I took an autostrop that had the tabs that go through the VALET letters. It was a useless razor in the state it was in.. So I first bend the notches back and tried to put a normal blade in. The swinging "door" wouldn't latch over the thicker end of the newer blade. I then took my dremmel and removed the bottom half of that swinging part. Enough so it wasn't shutting over the thick part of the blade but not so much that it wouldn't latch. Then I put the polishing tip on and smoothed everything out (including where I flattened those tabs for the VALET notches)

IIRC there were some Liv Tyler scenes worth watching...

For what its worth... shaving experiences were not the best on the trip.. I never realized how small the in-laws downstairs bathroom sink was until I tried wet-shaving at it... way too small! Good thing it was a tile floor which could be dried up easily. Then there was the bathroom at the campground..

Justin, you are correct, there are some scenes worth seeing, sporadically placed throughout the movie, but it was already past those spots

I don't understand why everyone's giving that poor, homely policewoman a hard time over her choice of underwear.

And don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

I would turn your attention to "Stealing Beauty" way more worth the watching than the cinematic turd that is "Armegeddon". More **nudge, nudge, wink, wink** Liv Tyler, and less Stephen Tyler (I haaate Aerosmith's slow ballads). The only downside is, you don't get to see Bruce Willis die, which in MHO is the sole reason for watching Armegeddon.

Plus you can pass Stealing Beauty of as "an artsy film." The themes it deals with will make you appear to be all deep and thoughtful!

I just did the title work. I'm totally digging that new style of he-man figures, though. They look just like I remember them.*

*note, that is not to say they look like they actually were.
