Nancy Boyish scented aftershave balm 1/2 the regular amount of CAR Hydrolast Peppermint Conditioner (we're talking a tiny tiny amount) Dime sized amount (or less) Dr. Galen Sensitive Skin formula aftershave lotion (light lavender scent) Mix together w/a little bit of water (like you do when you normall use hydrolast conditioner) and apply to freshly shaven face. Had a great shave this morning w/MB Clear skies soap and a bit of Ems place unscented shaving cream, followed by this concoction to continue the Lavender/Rosemary/Peppermint scent. Great scent, and leaves your skin smooth all day long.
HomeMade TR Aboot 6-8 months ago I had a tube of Proraso green that split at the seams. Rather than trashing it I squeezed it into a 1/2 full jar of MB Rosemary mint soap. I hadnt used it for quite awhile...until yesterday. Id checked in on it a few times over the months but had really lost all interest in the Proraso. So..... yesterday I was planning my shave and saw the tub on the bottom, pulled it out and WOW ! What I had waiting for me was a minty fresh creation that has the same, maybe a bit thicker, consistency of Tabula Rasa. Its not a cream and definately not a soap. Ill call it a chunky paste. Looks like papier mache from back in the day Long story short: Great smell, great Supahlather, great shave. Im gonna mix some more creams with the glycerine soaps Im not using very much and see what happens. Stay tuned.

EXACTLY ! Yes it did. The "new" product has a completely different consistency than Proraso. It is thicker and chunkier, altho with some more stirring it would prolly end up smoother. After I posted this I whipped together some: QED Rose geranium soap and TOBS Rose cream and QED Vetiver soap and RNB BayRum cream. Gonna let em sit a cuppa weeks and will report back. This is very exciting

Just tried this one this morning: Alt Innsbruck A/S splash (tobacco/menthol) + Knize Ten EdT (tobacco/leather) I smell like the highest priced cigar shop in the world! Old wordly scents, Gentlemanly, etc. VERY nice. :drool
The test kitchen includes: QED Rose geranium soap and TOBS Rose cream QED Vetiver soap and RNB BayRum cream MB "Will G" Prototype Soap + KMF Unscented Cream + Vetiver FO MB Brute Soap + KMF Unscented SC QED BayRum Soap + T&H West Indian Limes cream I am using a "rough" 70 / 30 ratio of glycerin based Soap to cream. NO Trip Mills used ! All batches are curing nicely and are actually useable in less time than I anticipated. Ive been giving them all a good stir every day and after a week or so, ALL are ready for use. Thick, Smooth and creamy with no lumps.

Looks like the consistency of Castle Forbes creams, or maybe Olivia. Kind of a soft soap, or a hard cream. Sounds like a great idea. I've got a 1/2 puck of MB lavender and an extra 1/2 tub of Taylors lavender. I'll put them together and see how it goes.

Nice photos! Now we, who are going to attempt to emulate your discovery, will know approximately how the tub should look/feel/stir when it's ready. So basically how does your process break down? You just squirt about 30% of the cream tube on top of the soap, and begin to gently stir/mix the two... then a cuppa days later stir again, and continue for a week or so? Or is this a daily thing?
It seems to work best (fastest) if you can break down the soap into pieces and then add the cream to it. But all that really matters is you get the two working together somehow. Stir at least once a day and within a week - doesnt take no more that - your own "SCREAM" wiil be ready. Good luck and get cookin ! :happy088

For tomorrow, I don't know which combo of stuff for to use--perhaps with menthol, perhaps not? A/s splash? Balm? edt afterwards??
