Not just the water but environment. The best lathers I've ever had were at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. Residual slickness like I've never had before or since. The combination of the water and the humidity made for some wonderful shaves. We spent some time on the Gulf coast of Florida this last summer. Higher humidity than N.O. but the water must not have been as good.

Here at home I have very hard water and a dry climate. Whole house humidifier and water softener installed to try and combat. Still nothing like New Orleans.

Razor: Karve Christopher Bradley SB Brass
    Blade: Personna Platinum (5)
Brush: Elite Razor Tres Amigos Desert Ironwood Beehive w/Envy White Knot
    Soap: Grooming Dept Ingress
    Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso
    Bowl: @twhite 3D Printer Bowl

Beard isn't growing back as quickly as it used to, but the shaves remain outstanding with this equipment. This brush is probably #1 in my den. I am also really enjoying this soap. the Floid F/Extra is nothing short of a great aftershave IMO. Happy Sunday! :happy088:

    Good morning

Fantastic shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

I've decided to do a mini focus using my Noble Otter soaps. Unconfirmed and unsubstantiated allegations of brown outs caused by my randomizer. Better lay low for awhile.

    Have a great day! [IMG]
