February 2020 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

Sweet razor! Most of the "patina" on that razor was just soap scum and other bathroom grime. Certainly something you want to clean off. I've been surprised how many razors on ebay go cheap when 5 minutes of cleaning would have added 2x to 3x to the selling price.

Early morning shave with an early evening post. Inspired by @jtspartan I took the opportunity to take a rare snow SOTD photo during our thankfully short snow event yesterday. I overslept this morning so the shave was more rushed than I wanted. Not the best idea when dealing the Rex Ambassador on 5. The 30DC LE did a wonderful job whipping up the Manna di Sicilia into a rich think lather. I stuck with the a traditional 3 pass shave that was super smooth and more importantly drama free.......until the final pass. One should never slide a DE razor side to side while resting the razor on your face. Yes, I did it and blood did flow. I only have myself to blame and should remember to put the razor down before answering my wife's question. Once the bleeding stopped, we went to visit my mom for the day. I hope everyone has had a great Sunday.

Wonderful shave and photo Jason. I agree the monobilt is a great shaver. I'm not sure how to discribe it. That's the monobuilt you had replating in bright nickel, correct?
