okay, my wife thinks this is over the top, but I don't see the problem:

watching a DVD on the desktop computer
posting on shave den, facebook, and doing email on the netbook
converting a movie for my zune on my laptop
setting up, updating, and getting my wife's laptop ready

    c'mon, that's only 4!!!
I could have my work laptop with me, preparing active directory changes for week after next!
    :D

nope but I got super sun burned, I'll stick to hiding indoors from now on. It was totally worth it though, went jet skiing in St. Thomas and scuba diving in grand turk, I also managed to finish a whole book and played lots of cards with my cousins :D

oh and I got glasses yesterday, put a pic up in what do you look like

Dom, best wishes to you, your girlfriend and her family.

Jen, welcome back, the glasses look nice.

Jim, thanks for the Synergy link, I may have to fiddle with it sometime.

    Goodnight all! 5 a.m. comes early..... :signs068:sleep001::mog

    Hey All,

    <ramble>

It's been a fun evening, but I honestly think I"m addicted to Farm Town. I should see if I can go a whole day without it. God knows it would do me good.

Jen, it's great to see you back again. Sounds like you had a memorable vacation. The glasses are you. Good job!

Bathed the dog tonight (she was starting to smell kind of like a skunk with a pancake on it's head). Grilled some veggie burgers, taters, and corn. Never had a totally vegetarian bbq before - not bad at all.

About to go have a late night shower and shave. Look out Iced Minted Sage, here I come!

What's been going on in here today? Last thing I knew there was computer talk, and I dozed off. Not sure if it's the computer talk's fault or an attempt to escape/ignore the excruciating pain, that the men folk don't want me to talk about, so don't ask if you can't figure it out. :p

I may edit this tomorrow...........I sleepy.

    night.

Yep, we know(read that as "please don't explain")... and we empathize in our own, um, manly ways (all of us that is except for Pam and Jen). :ashamed001

Get feelin' better as soon as you can! Think chocolate and small arms, just not at the same time. Glad you got some sleep and are getting more.
Guess I'd better shut while I'm still more or less ahead here... :scared003

Hey, did I mention how awesome Wheat Iced Minted Sage cream is? (Yes, I know I did.) That stuff is da bomb! Had a midnight shave with it tonight and finished up with the Iced Minted Sage AS.

    Wow! :bounce017:anifrozen:bounce017

Finally heading to bed now. Good morning East Coasters! Goodnight everyone else...

    Morning everyone!

Today's lesson... don't hit the scales of your straight razor on the bathroom mirror while shaving. Trust me... it isn't the brightest thing to do!

Hoping the rain holds off long enough to get the kiddo out on a bike trail with me. Gonna start with just a smooth paved section about 1 mile long without any intersections. Not completely straight but curvy enough to get her some practice.

Then gotta drop off wife's entries for the county fair (open class sewing - dress, costume, and complete outfit for the kiddo that she sewed) and off to see Harry Potter 6.

Jen! Great to see you back!

I think my mom's addicted to Farm Town as well...I'm trying to avoid it, but then again, I tried to avoid facebook, too

Owie!! did you get a nice cut?

    What he said. :D

So how was St. Thomas? I used to live down there (St. Croix, actually) and occasionally wonder how things have changed in the last decade.

Yeah, my mom is on Farm Town too. She e-mails me and texts me to coordinate times so she can harvest my crops. Its enough to make me quit farm town... But then that would be another set of issues. We have a family campout at the end of the month and perhaps I will just let my crops go to waste while gone and maybe it will be able to be forgotten...

Yes, I cut myself... not too deep but right under the nose. So it stings a bit and is a nice angry red stripe. It should heal fine, but its quite noticeable at the moment.

well time to go see if my mom is online in Farm Town....

oh btw: YAY she rode 4.65 miles this morning! Woo hoo... longer trails in the future :)

it was sooooo beautiful, my favorite port actually. I went on a taxi ride all the way up to the top and over a big mountain to get to coki beach and rode jet skis with my cousins, my dad and my uncle.

that's a very good principle for dealing with life. H.P. Lovecraft phrased it a different way: Do Not Call Up That Which You Cannot Put Down. :D

In similar news, I found out that IPs are good for only three shaves with my current setup. I pushed the blade to four shaves and ended up with irritation all over my chin.

Any of y'all know anything about plumbing? I decided to go all DIY yesterday and clean out the trap under our bathroom sink. I got it disassembled and cleaned out but didn't put it back together quite right. It's leaking a tiny amount, but it's still a leak. So it there a trick to re-assembling a trap under a sink?
