    good morning gents,monday shave.brit rhodium flare tip/platinum.the frank shaving synthetic lathered the barrister's reserve waves with ease,2+ passes later the near bbs was there.waves aftershave to finish.awesome.have a great day everyone..

    Thanks Gary.....I much prefer tallow soaps than soap cakes, but the latter works quite well enough, I must say. At the risk of plagiarizing my own shave report, I did just that in part. I release myself on my own recognizance.

    Perfecting the double bladed 1912 might be an interesting MAY-hem idea. If it weren't for the fact that I'm fairly certain I'll be using a shavette by then, I'd consider doing it.

    The fact that it was replated and PIF'd by you is one of the many things I like about the Flare Tip, but in all honesty, what I like most about it is I consistently get comfortable and close shaves with it, and very little effort doing it. I do stupid things, true, but I'd have to be a very special kind of stupid to let go of a razor that just works better than the others I have. Perhaps one day I'll run across a razor that displaces the Flare Tip...
