SOTD, Feb13th 2020

Razor: Oneblade core version 2 - MFG 2018>
Blade: Gem SS PTFE modified (7)
Soap: Razorock Marco- great citrus scent!
Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24mm with black marble handle.
Pre-shave: brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea Men Balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

Smooth yes. Efficient maybe. Ok on my beard but a lot of work and extra passes on my head. Very mild and angle dependent.

It's pretty much my go to razor. I have one in gunmetal finish (which is down to the brass!) that I use for travel. I do have a RR slant that I like as well. Use it for a week every now and then.
Not into vintage stuff as at my age, a lot of those Gillette razors were new when I was shaving in the 1960's. If I had known, I wouldn't have chucked them in the bin.

Soap: The Goodfellas Smile Shibusa 2
Brush: RazoRock Disruptor
Aftershave: Faena Xylon & Myrtle

To make it quick, it was an "okay" shave. My skin was irritated due to the Stress at work. The soap smells great. My nose said: Chocolate Cookies... The lather was great. The Gillette Perma Sharp is a good "middle of the Road" Blade.

Another good one. The B&M Ravish set is a perfect combo for tomorrow’s V-Day. Great performance in protection, glide and slickness that made the START OC razor feel as if no blade was there. The scent is quite nice with a Vanilla dominant scent yet still allows the Sandalwood and a slight citrus accord pop through every now and then. Almost gourmand like in its complete composition. The splash was just the icing on the cake is it did not come across as gourmandish as the soap perhaps being attributed to the skin food ingredients that sort of tempered the density of the notes. The Misses gave it 2 thumbs up. Fine by me. A great shave and evening to all....​
