I am going to try it tomorrow with the A&E "The City". I just hate messing up the A&E scents with an overdose of menthol.
Awesome shave, Joe. I think if I had the Dovo, I would be tempted to use nothing but the Hairshaper blade. You something closer to the coverage of a straight with the convenience of a shavette, no? I personally liked Stirling's take on the Bay Rum, but the Missus felt it was too cinna-clovey. You look great, Joe--OWN IT!
I am looking forward to giving the synthetic cooling drops a try. Mark was telling me they were super cold and didn't alter the scent of soaps or aftershaves. The drops and soap sample helped push me over the free shipping threshold. I ended up spending more than the shipping would have been. The retailers are pretty smart.

The length of the Hairshaper blade is just a tad smaller than a straight razor blade so that the area covered is similar. Unlike a straight razor, a shavette will make you pay with average technique. IMHO, going from shavette to straights is easier than the reverse. Thanks for the compliment, Tim!
