  1. Yes...I'm in my "duds" ready to go. Will do upper-body warmups here, as I always do before leaving. Thanks for the "cut commentary". Minus that, I've been pleased in general with my shaves lately.

  2. Did you buy the Stirling Obsidian a few years ago? I am asking because Rod reformulated the soap because it just was an average soap prior to the new base.

  3. Your video updates make my day, Chris. Keep 'em coming! I'm glad that you're settling into a more reasonable work schedule.
  4. Your dedication to physical fitness inspires me, Paul. Keep up the great work!

  5. Will do! Can't wait for March to begin :D
  6. Wow, Jeff! Fantastic photo, results, and report. I always knew that a bad soap would result in trouble, but never realized just how much a good soap might affect a shave. I always figured that once you made it past the level of 'badness', soap was just soap. Sounds like you found both your grail razor and your grail soap this month. Congratulations, sir! :D
  7. Be careful on that jawline, Paul.

  8. Great shave, Terry. Too much pre-shave labor for yours truly, though.
  9. Congrats on another cool razor Terry. :happy096:
  10. Great shave, Joe. Glad the Glastonbury is working out for you. Sold my third tub. I'm officially done with it.
  11. Dang, Paul! When you find yourself busting out the bandages, that's pretty severe. Glad you got back on the horse and got such good results with the rest of your shave. :)
  12. Great shave and photo Joe.
  13. I think Joe is more of a towel around the waist kind of guy. ;)

I'm in for 3 days a week, in March. Some days are simply too rushed and I have shelves of razors that need love. So I'm in as the alternate.
  14. Although...

... if we got a 5th on board, I wouldn't have to be the Invisible Girl any more. Anyone...? Anyone...?

My camera couldn't decide on what product to focus on, the result being a less-than great photo.
However, the shave was far better than the photo might suggest.
Super-goopy-runny lather would describe the sandalwood by Eufros.
    IMO...too runny.

Luckily, the Eufros soap is very slick, so the keenly-honed Heijestrand MK32
was super-simple to maneuver across Primo's kisser.
    I have mixed-feelings with regard to this brush. On one hand it's gorgeous to look at;
but at the same time, it's a major lather hog. The knot, while soft is, dare I say, too dense.
    There, I said it.
Not sure if it's going to remain in the den.
After 6 years, my preference for knot size is 22-26mm.
Even my CH2 tends to be too large.
Dr. Mrs. Primo described the Eufros as an "old-fashioned" soap smell. :signs002:
    Not an indictment, thank goodness.
Grabbed the extremely inexpensive Cigar Aficionado aftershave to complete the ritual.
  16. Anything worthwhile is worth a a bit of extra effort. That is a beautiful and unique shaver, Terry! :D
  17. Wonderful shave and picture, Joseph. I’m going to look up the Cigar Aficionado splash.
  18. That’s a unique and cool-looking razor, Terry! Nice shave.
  19. Wonderful shave, Joe! I'm always impressed at a 2-pass, minor touch-up, BBS shave sans irritation. You really are a Jedi Master ;)
  20. Sweet! Been waiting to pull this one up...
