I just got this vintage Wilkinson Sword Sticky. It’s in marvelous condition. I do have a few questions about the blades that I got with it. They’re WS Super Sword Edge blades in NOS condition. Does anyone have any info on these blades? How old do you think this packet of blades is? Have you ever shaved with these blades and if so; how do they shave? Would you recommend me shaving with one of these blades so long as there’s no rust or other problems? 2C66F574-263D-4946-A35F-8E5066FCDD45.jpeg

Those are some of the best vintage blades out there. They were made in the late 60's to very early 70's, when some of the best blades were made. . They are sometimes expensive to buy on eBay, but at times you can find them for a song, if the seller isnt aware. I have used and collected many of these, along with the Gillette Spoilers. They are very.sharp, smooth, and long lasting blades.

The Sticky shaves great. I’ve also used the vintage Wilkinson Sword Super Sword Edge blades; I must say they are some awesome blades.

I recently was able to buy 25 of these blades (5 packs of 5) for $19.

    Ouch. They have gotten expensive.
For the same feel, and longevity, I also love the Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellows. Decent price for these too.

They are. A step below the Light Brigades but very good. The longevity may surprise you

I’d say the Sticky is on par with the Super Speed.

Thought I would put this up.
These came in, along with a NOS Ever-Ready brush, and some Treet SE blades, all for $11.05. So, there are deals to be had on Ebay.
