Minus Linus or Minus Lucy? I'm finding that Linus/Lucy comics are very versatile... it's hard to say which works better... The one downside to removing Linus is that it leaves you with a totally blank frame...

hmmm, sans Lucy provides a surreal, yet accurate, picture of what our culture deems as the authority of truth and knowledge - the media, in this case, television. But at the same time, it reveals the steadfast, stand-your-ground approach of a previous generation, where even when what is considered by some to be the "standard" or what's acceptible, Linus continues to have faith in his belief. ya know, I don't think that strip could get printed today. I like the sans-Linus version best. The blank spot is awkward, but I really like Lucy randomly denouncing someone's theology. I've been known to do that myself sometimes.
Firefly.. great show... stupid network (Fox) that showed the episodes out of order and then canceled it before the fan base could really get rolling. Serenity was a good movie too, but I would rather have had another 4 or so seasons of Firefly.
