  7. That's what Wade has been telling me. I will likely get a brush scuttle before next winter. I already have a brush and razor being delivered this week and then ordered another razor, soap and aftershave last night. I need to cool it for a little while.

  12. If I ever happen across an old scuttle in a yard sale or antique shop , I would buy it. During the summer there are dozens of yard and estate sales every weekend.
  13. I keep saying I need to cool it too. So far it's just been words. A razor, a few soaps and a couple of aftershaves en route.

  14. Yes . This all started as an experiment. Never hurts to try new ways . I always kid around about bowl latherers and bloomers but when it 'boils down' to it , I'm just happy to see these guys enjoying their shaves and not rushing through them like in the cart days . Shaving is now a ritual for most of us now it seems .
  15. Well a very nice shave, shower and picture Charlie! I have some sheep, bay rum, barbershop and a few other Stirling bar soaps, great stuff, if you can hold onto it.
See you still have the time for a little uh, nudging. Thanks for the hint on the watch.

  18. Sounds like it's going great Tim, I sometimes over shave when using a mild mannered razor.
    Hey it happens.
I find watching the razor is counter productive.
It seems like listening works better, for me.
    Great report and pictures!

Stat holiday here in BC today. I shaved in the afternoon before a family dinner with my mom. 3rd round of Combo#2. A quick 2 passer was sufficient, as I’ll be shaving for work early in the morning. Not a bad shave, but I definitely get closer after 2 passes with the MonoBilt.
    Have a great night all!
