Thanks Jason. I appreciate the kind words. It has a nice, solid movement under the hood and a display caseback too. They ship 'em to Canada last time I checked, and you're a little closer to Japan than me. I just wanted to point that out.
Little different. I wanna talk to newer guys thinking about open blades. And @Trigger. He's a true Jedi. A bit over two minutes. I only say the word Canucks one time. https://photos.app.goo.gl/KrjSkRsAJ6Wx9b678 I love you all as a brother should. Have a great Tuesday. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
A little less than 2 weeks to go before I start with the shavette. Looking forward to the challenge. Thanks for the occasional pep talks. The encouraging words and fellow TSD residents who are also participating make the process a lot more enjoyable than last summer when I tried to get this done on my own. Thanks!
I love my MKII. When it arrived, it was exactly what was promised. A perfect tool watch. It has been regulated and timed in three positions. It holds +2 sec/day so far. Wearing it as we speak. Would totally buy it again. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
Anything you wanna ask or to see a technique, just tag me. I'll do a video answer. I love all this stuff, I don't even collect razors anymore. But yeah man... Let's do Shavette in March. Tell the people... And we'll rock it. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
General Announcement. I said something that needs clarification. If someone thinks Shavette is a bad tool, I don't think it means much. I got hurt with SR, DE and Shavette. People should pursue the solution optimized for their individual criteria. When I don't understand what someone is doing or saying, I try to remember that we might have different goals. Therefore our processes are optimized differently, to obtain a defined outcome. For most guys Shavette isn't worth the time. My daily is a Parker 64 DE. Have what you like. Follow any teacher you like. Share your experience. I wanna help you master all the ways. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
Do you mean the commode that the youthful, mischievous, and wiley wristwatch-'danger'-b cherry bombed with his chemistry set was in a bus?
Guys I am still around. Shaved with my 30DC kit. Puchased a car for my 16 year old daughter, and made a handle which I hope to anodize green tomorrow. Busy fun day today.
Great shave and good to see you back Myles! Awesome shave Jason! Nice job Neal! Cuts heal. I stared at that thing in the shavings pile and it kept staring back telling me we weren't through yet. Wonderful lather and scent from the Fine. Did I read they changed the formula lately?
I love car shopping with my daughters. One reason is so I'll know what I'll be working on whenever I get the call when something needs fixed. Ive been away from the lathe with my youngest being sick last week . Hope to get turning again soon.
Great explanation Chris . Hope we see some new guys give the shavette a try in March. I tried it ...I liked it . I still have some of the GSBs left you sent me for March. Woooooooo !
Wooooo.....! People should try the things that hold their curiosity. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
Or if You know people who are considering SR, tell them to jump in. I'll wanna discuss fundamental open blade shaves next month. It's the time in my life... To reacquaint with the rule. And get focused. NATO STRAPS AND BEANS AT BREAKFAST Roll Tide...Roll! Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
I fell a disturbance in the force. Shavettes in March? Done. Cartel approved and sanctioned. I remember the first time you did shavettes with new guys or guys trying them the first time. Great month. March will be too. Take it to the bank.
