I read on a watch forum that was staged . They said it was worn because the sticker was worn looking and the band was dirty as heck. The guy said something about the box sticker too. I'm no expert, I just wear watches so I can't say anything but what I read .
Love the worn look. I could never be a collector and just look at watches and not wear them. They all tell a story when well used .
Yea me 2. I have like 10 watches nothing Expensive. But I wear all mine. Why Just LOOK when I can wear and enjoy them all. I try to keep all my watches Under $ 100.00 each so if down the line I can replace no Problem. Sent from my iPhoneXR using Tapatalk
Good thinking. I have a couple cheapos for work and a few that were gifts or I inherited that probably cost more , but they are not 1000 dollar watches . I'd rather buy a decent used or a cheap new Timex or something like that.
I wore out a few Timex Ironman watches at work but usually get 8-9 years out of them . They about tripled in price and size since I first bought one in '88.
My last replaced watch was a timex. Lasted me 10 years. I replaced it with my now Citizen Eco Drive proDiver I got off Amazon last week for $86.00 Too good of a Deal to pass up. I also have a Invicta 45 mm Diver coming Saturday. Think I’m set for awhile. Sent from my iPhoneXR using Tapatalk

I like a watch with a basic plain face , nothing too hard to see. The old eyes dont focus like they used to.
They're very cheap off the Bay. A few spins through a hot washer and some hand twisting softens them up a lot. The Citizen is approximately a 1988 model. Was my dad's. Very rough when he gave it to me. A few years back I had it overhauled...new face, hands, movement, and seals. Bezel is a transplant too.
