Fantastic shave and photo, Jason! I looked last week and the Tobacco Bay Leaf splash is sold out on the Jeeves website.

 

I use a brush scuttle most everytime I use a natural hair brush. I face lather and enjoy warm lather throughout the shave. The scuttle also doubles as a container to soak my brush in water prior to use.

This shave is first for me since I started straight shaving because I have never let my stubble go beyond 52 hours. Today, I am shaving with 72 hour whiskers and decided to use my heaviest and largest shaver. I have only used it a few times and really wanted to test it out on a heavier growth. I decided to do a traditional hot towel shave. The feeling of that towel is heavenly. I lather my face as if I am ready to shave, but I apply the second hot towel application over the lather as a pre-shave prep. I leave the towel on my face for 90 sec for every application. Wiped the lather off my face and relather the face. Man, the Christmas Eve scent is so wonderful! This razor plowed through my 72 hr stubble without any trouble. After the 1st pass, I could've stopped the shave right then, but I went for the second pass going ATG. I got a nice BBS on the entire face and an IBSS+ on the neck so I will call it a IBSS++. There wasn't any bloodshed or irritation. Splashed the matching aftershave to reignite that marvelous scent. Topped off the shave with the Nivea ASB for a nice start to this morning. I'm sure it's a wonderful scent, as you say, but for me, the only time period I'd use that(Christmas Eve)would be in declaring an "All Stoylin Christmas Eve Week"(from Christmas Eve to New Year's Eve).
