  3. Excellent shave with a good-lookin' razor, Joe.
  4. My #2 wish-list wrist watch. Say that fast three times.
  5. Thank you, Clint!

The Jaws is a nice razor. Smooth with a fair amount of blade feel. I found it to be intuitive from the first shave. Andrew @Linuxguile sent me his for a test drive. I liked it enough that I bought my own.
  6. Wonderful family and a great shave, Andrew.
  7. Nice tribute, Tom. It gets easier.
  8. Thanks for your sympathy, Terry. :)
  9. Thanks for the response. Mark told me that I should have skipped the Lupo and went with the Jaws from the start.

It is still a messy morning here in the ATL but Mike's Lavender helps to brighten things up. The scent is pure strong lavender which I adore. I find Mike's to be easy to lather with superb performance. Plus the price point is excellent. I appreciate the straight forward scent profiles of Mike's soaps and the fact that he doesn't try to be the soap of the month club. Now onto the shave. I kept the Rex set to 3 for the first two passes, WTG & ATG and dialed it back to 1.5 for the XTG pass followed by touch ups and buffing my neck. The Rex delivered another drama free BBS shave. While I could and have dialed the Rex higher, this approach seems to work best for me as a daily shaver. A splash of the Fine Lavender AS and I am ready for another day of tax returns. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
  11. I don't know, Clint. I have the Aluminum Lupo and it's a pretty darn smooth razor. I'll be happy to have them both in the rotation.

Speaking of the Lupo, I haven't had a tracking update since the 15th on the SS one I ordered. Last update it was processed through Chicago and scheduled for delivery yesterday.
  12. Great shave and stunning picture, Clint!
  13. Nice shave Clint!
  14. Same tracking results with my SS Lupo. It shows expected delivery of the 18th. The tried to deliver my Simpson Trafalgar T3 yesterday. I have to go by the post office and pick it up this morning.

  20. SOTD February 19, 2020

Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna twin
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Poculi synthetic
    Soap: Stirling Green
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Green aftershave

Strange shave this morning. Good results in the end but oddly inefficient as it developed. You'd think the twin blades would increase efficiency but they get clogged with suds easily and don't swipe away the lather as cleanly as others. I did two full passes and stopped. My neck is a little scruffier than it should be but I wasn't going to push it. Beautiful lather with outstanding scent and carried through the Polo Green dupe with the splash.

    Enjoy your day!
