  1. Terrific shave Tim! It seems the Tsuka either bites you or invites you.
  2. Great shave, pic and lineup, Jim!

  3. Most of my cuts and burns are coming from pressure, and today's rushed shave is probably no exception.

As to the supergoop lathering technique, I usually get a pretty good shine on my Stirling, but I am struck by how dense that lather is... and how little he seems to get. It's like he's getting all of the water without the "explosion" of lather (which is probably just air bubbles anyhow). Probably gonna hide myself away in the bathroom tonight and try a couple test runs--thanks, Andrew! :D
  4. Thanks, Gary! I agree :)

  6. Great picture and shave, Jim!
It's very rare to get a UPS or FedEx package early. I had a package arrive at the local UPS hub three days early, about five minutes from where I work. They wouldn't let me come pick it up. I had to wait until the scheduled delivery day to get it.
  7. Awesome looking shave, Jim! Love the photo :D

  8. True that, sir. Tsuka held the door wide open today--still catching wonderful whiffs sans burn.

    And thank you, Joe :D

  11. Please, please, please do not associate Canada Post with any of the fine Canucks on here...:)
True story- when I mailed out the 30DC brushes, they were all in the same sized envelopes. The first few were to the US. Price was usually right around $10. I mailed one to Keith in Korea. $14, iirc. Then mailed one to Douglas in Ontario...IN CANADA.. $15. You seriously cannot make this stuff up.
  12. Thanks, Jim!

  13. Awesome! I have some band/music related ones, I'll try to remember to tag you if I show any of them off.
  14. You need to tell your kids you aren’t getting any younger! You then share pictures with them. In my case, my kids grew up watching me take them to jewelry stores where I would try on the “Bluesy”. So they knew dad liked the watch. They also knew he was too thrifty a soul to ever pony up the money himself.
  15. Great shave, nonetheless!
  16. Great pain stick shave, Neal!
  17. Thanks, Andrew!

Well, I got my new brush and I had to try it out. I could have waited this evening or tomorrow, but I am weak. Lol! I have to say this brush looks better in person than the picture that was shown in the raffle. The brush has a little backbone and the bristles are very soft. @Jayaruh Jim, the craftsmanship on this brush is top shelf! The brush really made face lathering very easy. It prooduced a very nice lather for my shave. Did 2 passes for an IBSS+, but got a tiny weep on my moustache area. Did not get any irritation. The last time I used this razor was Oct 14 and it is my 5th shave after my first honing with lapping films. Finished with the Piacenza aftershave and the Nivea balm. Have a nice day guys! 20200219_152244.jpg 20200219_152244.jpg
