Anyone besides me carry one regularly or occasionally? My black Pocket Ben is with me more often than not lately, the Scotty will likely go to my daughter who is nuts about it.
Love them but don't really have the pockets. I made a pocket watch out of a wrist watch and sometimes keep it in the coat...
Wrist watches bother my carpal tunnel syndrome, so I wear a pocket watch and have for years. Actually, my most commonly carried one is a belt watch - a pocket watch fitted into a belt holder so it clips on my belt and I can just lift the watch to read it instead of digging it out of a pocket. I also have a number of others including some nice old vintage ones.
I have a couple of them. They are more modern built watches, one square, with my name engraved on it. The other, a round one with just a simple stainless steel case, with plain black numbers. I wear the round one when I compete in cow boy action shooting matches.
I will try to get a picture of them. I'd like to get a decent condition antique one day, being as I'm a newbie to the watch world, it is a bit confusing looking around and trying to pick a decent one with only a novice idea.
I’ve got one pocket watch, a 1913 Elgin that I rarely carry. It keeps great time and looks good for a 105 year old piece... I’ll get a photo up soon.
This is my watch I use when I compete in cowboy action shooting. Nothing fancy, got it from Walmart for like 8 bucks.
I love pocket watches i never could stand a wrist watch i have a good one i wear on occasion to family gatherings
I've got two railroad Hamilton pocket watches. Both are restored and keep excellent time. Hamilton 992b Hamilton size 16 with a Montgomery dial, 1951 Hamilton 940 Hamilton size 18, 1901
