Thank you, Jeff! They are disposable. The blade is locked in, or least difficult to remove, so the TSA lets them go in carry on luggage. When I make these overnight trips, they are the razor of choice, as I much prefer them to a cartridge.

Another beautiful photo, Jim! The angle and lighting really emphasizes the teeth on Jaws, and that brush handle... like looking into the cosmos. A great shave and report, sir! :D

Great shave report, as usual! The Fatboy didn’t do it for you? I’m surprised, 9 on the Fatboy always gives me a very efficient shave, but then again, I don’t possess your famous Kevlar whiskers! ;)

    Another shave...same razor.
Crazy thought...imagine having a shave den with just one of everything!

    I am ok now.
Day 20 with the Swedish steel and the edge is as good as ever.
The lather from today's soap was thinnish, as I didn't really get enough product on the brush.
Nevertheless, slickness abounded and there was no problem managing three passes.
ATG on the neck, as usual, would fail the cotton ball test. Cheeks and jaw would pass.
Here's a quiz for anyone with both the Safari soap AND vintage AoS sandalwood.
    They're the same...right?
Nowhere on the Ralph Lauren box does it state where the soap is manufactured,
HOWEVER...the color and the scent are nigh identical.
Please weigh in with your opinions.

Finished the shave with two not-pictured products:
Nivea post shave balm and a couple of sprays of vintage Pierre Cardin EdT.

Pirates. Spectral pirates. Tell her your house is haunted/inhabited by spectral pirates--it's the only thing that makes sense ;)

Awesome Bay Rum shaves this month, Terry! There are worse things than having spectral pirates manifest themselves through a Bay Rum scent. Could just as easily have been the Clubman Ghost :scared003:

This morning, I tried something "kind of new"...I decided to see how Clubman Special Reserve aftershave would go with the barbershop version from Central Texas soaps. About the same mix as with the Clubman Original, except, of course, for the scent difference. I may return to Clubman Original though, as that more closely matches the CTS soap. Another fine shave overall, though. This particular soap still has the Bentonite Clay in it that Greg Smith has now removed. It appears to be in the middle of the puck. I wonder how my shaves will be when I get right at the edge of the clay. I could have done a bit better on the neck, thus I will lower my grade from yesterday to Very Excellent.

Great series of shaves with that Rex, Clint! And, again, that handle... even the bottom of it has a mirror-like shine :D

It doesn’t get any better than that, a gift from you wife an worn on your wedding day.

    Those are perfect for you.

I counting on you guys for the ice cream and BBQ. Where is the ice cream man?

I agree the ego dynamics are on another level when you use a Barbasol Floating Head. I’m also a big fan othe the Omega Pro.

I had a few opportunities to get free sniffs of the Pete Cardin scent(out of magazine pages). Good stuff, indeed.

Interesting razor Jim! I never got good shaves on the road cause I was using carts and goo back then .
Never tried either but I get suspicious when I dont see where something is manufactured. You sure finished the shave in style though Joseph!
Why did he remove the clay? Read good and bad about that stuff. Great shave btw Paul!

Good morning! I enjoyed another near BBS and completely comfortable 2+'er from my focus gear. I have been trying to stretch my skin with every stroke of the blade, and that helps me tremendously. I have also been doing some ATG buffing on the bulb of my chin and on my upper lip. If I'm really careful, the results are outstanding. The performance of the Eufros soap is top notch, but I can't get excited about the scent. Thankfully, it doesn't stick around long after the shave. I finished with Aramis, which will always be one of my favorites.

I'm ready to face the day sans the French cuffs wearing one of my favorite watches. Seeing photos of @9nein9's Timex Ironman, I was inspired to wear my G-Shock. This thing is more than tough. It's kid-proof, and it has been reported that it will survive scuffles in Aisle 12 and even brief exposures to Clubman. We're off to spend time with a dear aunt and hopefully cause trouble somewhere. All is quiet 'round here...for now at least. Have a terrific day.
