went to pick up some cross bars for the roof rack on my car... $150 each with 6-8 week shipping? no thank you... I will just use some creative rope tying and bungee cords.

 

The price is bad enough, but seriously 6 - 8 weeks in this day and age?

 

ooooh... engrish instructions are the worst. we ordered this specialty baby play pen thingy that has 100 and 1 different configurations (play pen, changing table, co-sleeper, etc...) before my son was born. It came with badly illustrated engrish instructions. I'm happy to report our marriage survived assembling that beast. We've only ever used it in two of its setups, mainly because we can't figure out how any of the others work.

 

Well I guess the Torrent/Equinox roof racks are unique enough that the normal universal roof racks won't work and they are such a low demand item that they get special made.. . blah.... I could probably get it from the dealer. However, it probably wouldn't be any cheaper.


yeah... Engrish directions are bad. And it is always on the one item in 100 that I bother trying to look at them on.

Oh well, off to source a 18 X 17 tarp for the tent.
