A wonderfully refreshing looking shave, Terry. Love it when you bust out the Orange Chill. Sounds like you earned it. Hope your recovery is quick and complete, sir. :)

    Thanks gentlemen!
Seems like sick kids, diapers, wash clothes, work, then I get sick.
    That sums up the week.
It'll get better, it alway does.
    But man it's been tough.
Maybe the little ones will sleep late tomorrow.
    Thanks again!

i ditched a really mint red tip because of a failure in my technique.patience, and understanding..while i have replaced said razor, its not as nice.i try to give things a better chance lately.just my thing i guess, made many rash decisions over the years.some of which more patience would have produced better outcomes.now if the razor is damaged/faulty like Patrick suggested it may never shave properly without repair/replacement.a relaxed focus of a week or so could reveal that.razors are just blade holders after all with bigger/smaller/gaps and blade reveals.slightly different angles and so on..this is why a Rule/Focus teaches proper technique.dialing in a razor .not trying to preach here, but most guys who learned de /se from an early age were gifted /bought A razor and "learned "how to use it and get great shaves with it..only us lunies have multiple razors today..

Well most of what you say I agree.
The last part, if that was true, I'd get a great shave from a cart. But of course, that will never happen.

I have a couple blade holders here that I put on the backburner when I dont get the shave I desire from them . Is it because I have many to choose from and prefer others? Could it be me? I PIF'd a nice Gem 1912 away then ended up getting 2 more because of my hastiness. The saga continues.....

Glad you’re recovered, Terry! Those 24 hr stomache bugs knock the you know what out if you! A good shave always helps me feel better!

i imagine guys in the older days who didn't like gillettes tried gem or schick razors with great results or vise versa ..just speculating..:)

i agree..access to different choices were limited.i don't think there were many razor collectors during the 30s-60s.many had that "make do' mentality and things were built to last and be repaired..

Very interesting, Bill. I had no idea AC blades came in different sizes, actually.
Don’t put Madame B away for too long, Jeff! Although, putting it aside for a MonoBilt is a really good move too...
Excellent start with the T3, Clint. Can’t wait to have mine come in. Congrats on the soap. I hav found RR soaps pretty hit or miss- glad you got a good one.
A great looking combo, Jim.I had no idea Maol was making splashes for anyone else. I really like them.
    Beautiful Seamaster, Mr. Bond!
Very nice combo, Gary! Love those Prewar Techs, too.
Very nice, Joe. Hope you had fun out tonight.
Sorry to hear the Variant isn’t working too well, Tim. Awesome lather, regardless.
    Safe travels, Joseph.
I forgot you had one of those amazing looking bowls, Bill. awesome!
Congrats on getting to the bottom of that big Soap Commander tub, Neal. Mine has lasted forever.
Hope you are well, Terry. ‘Tis the season for those crappy viruses.

Thanks, Jason! I may have figured out part of the problem--the adjustment #'s are misaligned.

I may just put the thing up for a while and tackle it when I've got time to focus on it.
