Thanks, Charlie. The shave was the BEST part of this hotel. It was a real dive.

Great post, Neal. May I suggest an Omega 63mm x 26mm to really finish this soap off?

Beautiful shave, Keith. 100% agree about the Chubbys. Handles are too small. I would love a CH3 handle, fitted with a CH2 knot.

    2020 Shavette Focus Shave # 2

The second shave of the focus was much like the first. I substituted Tabac for the Eufros soap, worked the lather a bit more, and got the thick, creamy lather that I prefer to use. Also, the leading corner of the blade behaved today...no nicks. Overall, a super comfortable, close shave with no blood or irritation.

Now, I know many of you are impressed that I can pick up a shavette after months of DE shaving and get such wonderful results. Stated simply, the only new principle involved is that instead of power being generated by the relative motion of conductors and fluxes, it is produced by the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance.

    Have a great Sunday, gentlemen.

I never really had a problem with carts. I can say that all the techniques we have learned make cart shave better.

I like that you are getting great shavette shaves right out of the gate after a long stretch of DE shaving, Charlie! Have a blessed day!

A good "comeback shave" from yesterday's Duke Cannon Co.opener. For cream, Clubman's tall can has always been very good. Missed a bit on the right side AGAIN, which I didn't notice until applying the aftershave-felt like I was running it through tall grass. Going back to soaps tomorrow should handle that problem. Today's aftershave was once again the Clubman Special Reserve, and I finished by slapping some Clubman talc powder on the back of my neck, under the ears, and on my feet. More Excellent Than Yesterday.
