You sure that's the reason? I coulda sworn it was caused by a botched attempt at a Marlon Brando "Godfather" imitation.

 

Yay! The audiologist was able to take care of my dad's hearing problem (buildup of wax on the ear drum) He only has one working ear (tumor caused loss of hearing in other ear about 15 years ago), so we have been worrying when his hearing started to go in the good ear.

Well, the creeks died down and we were finally able to drive out of our road, so we decided to try camping anyway... The sun came out and all is well, so far. Cooked on charcoal for the first time ever today... I think I did it right. Hotdogs were thoroughly cooked, so I guess I did it okay. The cabin is nice. It's small but the bathrooms are close and they're really, really nice (recently remodelled).

Plus, camping with wifi! Something just ain't right about that.

NOAA/NWS are trying to kill me. Here I am trying to use a straight razor and they trigger off a loud and startling alarm through the weather radio. Then about the time I get that off and back shaving, daughter starts calling out wanting to know what the noise was. Ugh.
