Back to shaving.....
I wanted a one pass shave, that is where I am today. I'll get a better shave tomorrow morning.
Everyone is gone their merry way, the house is quiet, nice.
Pulled out my Focus R21 shavette and loadded it with a half a new Feathe blade.
Now I'm NOT proficient at an open blade razor so I'll take it slow.
Being a terribly brave sole (or terribly stupid) just starting a new type of blood thinner because the others seem to give me odd reactions, makes this even more challenging.
I'll leave that for you to decide.
The landings are all against the side never on the blade. Gently roll the tool till the blade just touched the skin, then shave. Doing this on the right side then the left side gave me an ok pass.
The jaw line took a little figuring out but the razor went along that area fine with little trouble.
The neck, oh the neck, I used the two handed style for the cheeks and jaw line so to on the neck both sides and the middle, no issues, hummm.
Let us NOT get to cocky here, that spells disaster.
The sides, lip to chin all were fine.
Now my problem area, the bottom of my chin is trouble. It fights any blade put forth. Defying logic and steel it refuses to heed to any but the most keen of blades.
Trying to remove this god awful ruggedized burlap is a chore, to say the least.
Having to hold the blade stout so it can't be tossed of like a child's toy is the only way.
But to tight and.......
I did get it sufficiently mowed to be sure, but only in a pedestrian sorta way.
Done! No blood! No rash! Its another one pass for the books.
The head shave I'll leave for morning.

Used the sample of Stirling Agar today, some hillbilly after shave then more Stirling to finish the deed.
Smooth but for the chin, that will take some practice.
All
ENJOY!
