    Thanks, Joseph!

The brush is one of the newer DPG High Density knots. Great knot. Unfortunately my example has a knot that was set crooked. I didn't notice it until after I had started the defunking process. Doesn't affect the performance at all but it's hard to look at.

Joe, my brother! I'll unpack some gear soon. I just white hat troll with Barbasol. It's a bad joke. I'm a shaving forum mod. I advocate Barbasol for new converts. I even started the Barbasol Brotherhood.

You're a made Jedi. Most men need to shave.

    Question:

What is the name of our Forum?

    1) The pretentious showoff razor collector clown who thinks this means anything Den.

    2) The Shave Den

I don't the knock the hustle, I collect stuff

That said. This thread is amazing.

You have me shaving with whatever...

And the experts in every aspect of this hobby activity. SR game.... Yep. Brushes that cost 3x my shoes... It's a given on a shave forum. Soap so niche I don't get it...every day. Hanging out. Like a neighborhood bar.

But, we all drilled technique as the solution to shaving issues.

It makes all that nutty stuff into next level fun.

When techniques are solid for the individual, the difference in equipment actually matters and means more. It's why I tell new guys.. Buy whatever looks cool, it will all cut you up pretty badly while learning. Just focus... Angle and pressure. Deliberate strokes. Share your experience. Don't evrr mention Neal's Rapira Shave. Not until somebody links it up.

Glad you are here, Joe. It's like you been here forever. You do it well on TSD.

I think I got the worst of it.
Kinda glad it didn't hit the little ones that hard, really sick small kids, that's hard on them.

Thank you for the kind words, Chris! I try to live within my budget and have nice razors, etc. I am content with what I have in my den and in other areas of my life. God is still working on me. The 30 DC guys are awesome and I am glad that I am in this shaving fraternity. Peace out!

well, back to school now from another week off break. Spring break will be in April and senior year is getting closer and closer as the days go on. No shave today. with a 30% graduation rate my high school has, looks like I may be seeing some seniors for a 3rd year in a row. Hopefully though as long as I keep applying my self, I'll graduate on time.
