It was definitely a nice piece of enabling. I am getting the urge to purge my razor collection again, and this one would definitely make the short list.

Sorry for dropping two of these so close together--just didn't have the time yesterday.

    Week 4, Day 2 Gear
    • Blade: SS uncoated gem (2)
    • Brush: Kong
    • Soap: Stirling Sandpiper--just about run out of this!
    • Enhancements: Stirling Frost Drops
    • AS: Clubman original
    • Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented.
    The Shave
Actually a pretty good shave. 2 passes and touch-ups. Before I knew what happened, though, I had touched up everything. Let's be honest... 3 passes (WTG, XTG, & ATG). On the touch-up under my nose I just barely cut myself--didn't even feel it--but as I was putting the finishing touches on my chin... blood. Hard to be disappointed, though. I haven't had a fully BBS shave in a while. It was kind of nice. The slightest indication of irritation on my upper lip. Not bad. Still, probably should have just backed off.

It’s always nice to fall back into the routine, Myles! Sounds like your ready to put the nose to the grindstone! I’ll continue to look forward to your shave reports!

I'm sure it would probably help, but if I'm being 100% honest, any blood drawn from my 1912 is almost always due to over shaving an area. I can't fault the razor or the blade--just the lazy shaver

Great reports, Tim! Changing razors daily makes it tough to get consistently blood free shaves.
