    Oops. Last paged myself.

Also, package tracking is one of the worst things ever for people with obsessive compulsive personalities.

    Ain't that the truth!

Good thing you're not a FaceBook fan, Dom. It would make you nuts!

Hey, the Tanglewood concert sounds like an incredibly good time. Do they still bring HS kids there in the summer? I had a friend that attended in the summer of 1977. He said it was amazing.

Yep, I should be working on pens. My queue is way too big. :shocked031

Guess I need to stop the farming for a few days and hit the bench, eh?

For tonight though, I think I just get some sleep... Goodnight, everyone!

I don't need more things to be addicted to, thank you very much. :D

Yes they do still bring HS kids and other youth groups there. It's my first time going to Tanglewood, though.

I'm always happy to be offensive.

I agree with Pam. How many places can you get a quality product made for you the way you'd like it?

Oh yeah. Bang on that leather, Pam.

How'd the latest attempt on the case go?

    Goodnight, Tom.

I should head to sleep soon, myself.

Why is it that I always wake up earlier when camping?

Didn't shut down last night until around 2:00 AM---

Been up for about an hour now.

The weird thing is, I'm not any more tired than I normally would be.

okay, so much to catch up on, I know I'm going to miss 1 or 12, so don't take it personal if I don't mention something I thought about mentioning while thinking about what I needed to mention.....[IMG]

Micah, sorry to hear about your grandmother
...and waking up early while camping. I did the same thing last week while we stayed in a camper at the beach - 6:00 am, I'm wide awake. This after staying up til at least 1:30 am...for undisclosed reasons
(by the way, whoever said "ladies first" was only partially correct...oh, the rewards when you make it lady first, second, third, fifth, and seventh...:D)

Shep, sorry to see that you feel the need to step down. I thought you brought a new energy to the aftershave area, with weekly chats and all...now I guess Matt has to pull up the slack there now :)

Bill...what the carp? they made you a mod?!?! Inconceivable!

Jen, sorry the job is boring you, guess it's not as exciting as staying up all night and cramming for tests a la college, eh?
well, 4 words: welcome to real life :o:D

JoAnna, glad you're feeling well and catching up on orders (though I am concerned of your want ads seeking assassins on facebook....

    Everyone else: Hey!

    and thanks for the congrats!

    Now, update time:

before I left, I had two issues come up which nearly caused self-inflicted head trauma :angry032:
    1) Dell order that lost a mouse - well, mouse came in the following Monday; I was happy, wife was happy, everything was good on that front.

    2) touch screen on my cell phone died. normally wouldn't be a big deal, except it's nearly impossible to do anything on it as there are very few physical buttons to do phone tasks, and those were limited to making calls - again, the main reason for having a phone, and in reality the only feature I desire, but with several family members that text me frequently, I could neither read nor respond to their messages.
Stopped by a Verizon store to plead my case, expecting the worst, and lo and behold they went right into getting a new phone on it's way to me...:happy108

Well, it came in while we were out of town, so I didn't get the benefit of having it while on vacation, but the end result was very worth the wait...

since I got the phone at an Alltel store before the takeover, I got an LG Glimmer:

over all, not a bad phone, but I grew weary of some of its limitations - and I know Micah was sure tired of having to call me again, or wait for me to call back, when I'd try to open the slider and not quite get a good grip on it, to have it slide back down and hang up :o

well, since the Verizon takeover, the Glimmer is no longer available, so they substituted for me. Now, I wish they would have called and said such, and maybe say "we can offer X for free, or you can pick up the phone of your choice for X discount", but they didn't, and yes, I agree it is totally their discretion to do so, it's just that historically, I end up with a slightly bittersweet taste of the deal - sure, you get a new free phone, but not necessarily one you would have picked on your own accord.

However, this was an exception to the rule:

LG Env Touch Screen is now my phone, and I can say I do love it, especially compared to the glimmer (truth be told, I probably would have picked a blackberry or HTC, but this will certainly be more than adequate!)
And, they sent me a free car charger for the "inconvenience".
Wow is all I can say.

    so true....

So Jim, is that a Brew phone or a true Java? I hate Verizon's Brew phones. I just didn't realize how much I hated the brew phones until I started using the web on the phone this last 6 months.

speaking of brew.. maybe it is time for some. (I am a bit sickie this morning so have been a tad bit off...)

    Morning, folks.

Sweet deal on the phone, Jim.

Sometimes, I catch my Lego buildings on fire. That'll have the lessor concerned.

    yes, absolutely true!

as for the phone, I don't keep up with cell phone technologies that much, so....
    *Google-Google*
it appears it is a BREW phone (very clever, BREW and JAVA :cool:)
not sure if it will be any kinda of issue for me (doubtful), unless it affects the web-browsing a lot, which I am considering adding...the specs say HTML capable, but I only want it if I can do the handful of things I'm even considering getting it for...TSD, web email, FB, google maps, etc
