Nah, the Jeeves covered it up well enough. I just don’t need the hassle. Maybe it goes to the back of the den for when MrsSpartan needs to travel. Or maybe I’ll just move on from it.
I've still been trying to find the sweet spot when it comes to how much water I've been using. I might try going overboard with the water one of these just to see what happens
O.k. Terry @Terry I'll play along. I have this laid out for tomorrow's shave. The Dollar Tree shave. I think I may even man up and try the blades. I'll have to use one of my brushes. My wife said no on the cosmetic brush.
Sorry about the rough shave, Andrew. Hopefully you get a good night's rest and tomorrow's shave goes better.
Thanks for the thoughts and encouragement! I’m resolved and confident for progress; things could have gone much worse. Shaves #7-100 are all about the 3 R’s
Congratulations on the sweet knife trade, Andrew! Sorry to hear about the rough shave, though. I too have fallen victim to hubris (difference is you sound like you've learned your lesson whereas I only ever think I learn mine--it takes an unnaturally long time for me to internalize consequences). I would never have thought to pair Scots Pine with Sandpiper, but now that I see it, I'll bet that matches up quite nicely. Enjoy your shave day off, then get back on that horse and conquer, sir.
Man you are stepping on eggshells messing around with her cosmetics. They take that very seriously. Did she make you put the powder foundation and lipstick back also?
I all seriousness, though, I have often wondered how those dollar store blades perform--will be paying close attention tomorrow
