    I agree with Primo on this one.

    I’m a daily shaver and use straights 6 or 5 times a week. I find them to be a little kinder to my face than a safety razor.

    Keith, I know you use straights most days and you are an elite Shogun so I would never doubt your technique. I know you need to be uber clean shaven because you are a banker so I get it. My point is that for the avg person, a BBS straight shave should last at least 36 to 48 hrs. I implied there are exceptions to the rule, like work appearance or fast and thick beard growth. I love straight-shaving and wish that I could do it every day, but my beard growth rate, white color and work situation doesn't warrant it.

    Thank you, Jason! We had a nice evening. Jenna doesn't like cake (@timabababaluka ), but she loves donuts. My wife and oldest daughter made her a "cake" out of a dozen donuts, of which I had one. It was a lot of fun.

    Philisphical Question:
    Should the demise of my overwhelming desire to accumulate software and hardware be attributed to:

    1. My dramatically reduced phone and internet time.
    2. Embarassment that my den looks like I'm a shave "prepper" ready for the apocalypse.
    3. Reduced exposure to @clint64 's enabling.

    Dunno. Either way, I'm continuing to enjoy my shaving stuff, enjoy my shaves, and enjoy my periodic voyeuristic peeks at this thread. I've even gotten to enjoy some of my lesser used soaps, brushes, etc. that I passed over before. All the while, I'm working hard to make the ice cream while pretending online to live the life that Charlie imagines I have. It ain't easy keeping up the image of MISTER Fancypants, you know.

    Regardless, I hope all is well in your respective worlds, gentlemen.
