No, really just a fond remembrance. The house I grew up in had a peach tree in the back yard, so mom made a batch of cobblers every year.

We also had 5 rhubarb plants too... Mmmm strawberry rhubarb cobbler. :drool

Now if we didn't eat them, then we got clobber....ed

Make mine pie please (although cobbler and/or upside down cake would be just good). Rhubarb pie is one of my fondest childhood food memories (the others being raspberry freezer jam and homemade applesauce).
