I got my razors today. Thanks @BBS and TSD. Going to take the Stick Schick for a test drive tomorrow.
You are right he did now that I go through prior posts. I never saw it and he never pm'd me letting me know his choice either. If he wants an injector still I have others. I'll sort that out with him in pm if he responds to this.
I just received my Schick injector and razor today. Thanks @PanChango Dale for donating it to The Shave Den. Thanks, @Queen of Blades, Joanna for shipping it and a belated Happy Birthday!
I received my mystery box today and JoAnna @Queen of Blades outdid herself. I was going to pull it all out for a big picture but there's so much I feel like I stole it. 10 tubs and 5 tubes Some have a little and some have a lot but there's got to be a year's worth of shave cream here. Thank you so much JoAnna. This was a fabulous mystery box.
It is in the mail but I do have another injector or 3 I can substitute if @Chuck Naill wants. I'd ask to not doing anything with it yet as long as he gets back to me in a timely manner.
For anyone who is not sure who won what, all winners are listed with their prize in the first post of all raffle threads.
I did some internet research. This is a Type E-3 razor because the bar guard has parallel grooves. The window for Type E razors was 1935 to 1945. There were 5 versions so I am guessing every 2 years for every new version. So, I date the E-3 razor at 1939-1941.
I don't really remember. I looked it up when I won it in a forum raffle a few years ago from Andrew @Linuxguile
E3 came out based on my research in 1942. Those razors were sold to the general public during the war. Unlike with other razors or blades the shortages for Schicks happened in 1944/45.
