    IMG_4579.jpg Last rotation this month for the 30DC inspired/supplied shave. Everything worked as it should, which is a very good thing. This safety bar baseplate for the Occam's has a much narrower sweet spot that the scalloped bar version, but the results are about the same once you get it dialed in- most excellent.

    Very nice looking shave, Gary. I can't shake my cold, either.
    I think I will join you in a Gillette NEW focus. Instead of Techs, I'll add an OT and make it a Gillette OC focus next month.

    Congrats on another great raffle prize, Bill. I liked the Flare Tip as well, no question. I gave mine to my Father in Law about a year ago, but did keep the Red Tip version.

    Very nice, Clint! By the way, I think you can put a few more notches on your Enabling wall- I just received notification that I missed a parcel delivery to my home- It has to be the 2 Trafalgars. As well, I spent about an hour last night alternating between putting the Jaws and the .84 OC Gamechanger in my Cart. Just a matter of time until you claim another victim...

    That Flare Tip, right? Just an amazing little shaver. One shave had me suspecting it might be my top razor. Two shaves... confirmed! As always, YMMV, but for me this is a joy-to-shave-with razor :D

    Fantastic shave and report, Joseph. Hopefully We're looking at the FH. I'll be paying close attention to your focus next month. I'm ready to move on from my Personna Blue's, and since I still don't know if I want to pay Feather prices, I was looking in Russia's direction for some answers.

    Also looking forward to the article :D

    :angelic007: I am innocent. But I will say this. Between the Lupo and the Jaws, it's the Jaws for me all the way. I will likely be putting the Lupo up on the various BST next week. I have 2 more packages in bound from Simpson as well. So I am enabled as much or more than I enable. :D

    Very nice, Joseph. I think I inadvertenly caused you to fret about that razor. Didn't mean to, it was just that when you said it was a smooth easy shaver yesterday I wonder briefly if you had the 'other' Barby razor. I am by no means an expert, but did spend a few hours reading up on the Barbasol razors before I bought my Floating Head. The consensus out there seems to be that the 'Floating Head' where the blade appears to be connected to the top cap and has a gap to the baseplate is quite an aggressive shaver, where the Barbasol razor that has the blade sitting a lot closer to the baseplate is considered milder.
    Based on your pics in The Haul thread, yours looks the same as mine.

    Fantastic photo and shave Clint! I find the Game Changers to be much smoother then the Lupo with the Lupo winning in blade feel and efficiency. Now that youve had a few good runs with both I'm curious if you feel the same way?
