We were shooting in the prancing pony ;)

Nah, it was okay, a coupla beers during the shoot kept me alive and kicking... err... shooting :D The hardest thing was importing all the raw material on sunday after only 3 hours of sleep - can't skip the early Mass at 7 am ;) I worked the whole day yesterday and am still not finished importing the stuff...

not really, thought I was possessed by Rolls this morning though....

stopped at the gas station near my house to get a coffee and sausage biscuit, as a I frequently do. Their sausage biscuits are quite good, honestly. The biscuits have 3 distinct conditions they are often in, depending on who's cooking them at the time - overdone, where they are hard and tough; in the middle, they're not overdone, but not soft and tender, it's really a happy medium, buttery crispy taste, but what I really like is the; soft and tender, as my description states, they are very soft, warm, just awesome....they're no homemade buttermilk biscuits by any stretch of the imagination, but anytime I go in there and see the fresh soft biscuits, I really get excited....
so, the Rolls moment, as you can probably guess, happened when I walked in to see the nice, soft biscuits, and commented to who I thought was one of the regular girls working I talked to quite a bit, and said "Ooh, the biscuits look good, big and soft this morning".....only to find myself talking to a new girl....with big and soft 'biscuits'....fortunately, she didn't think anything of the comment, as I was looking directly at the food as I said it, and fortunately I didn't think anything of it until I was out of the store, and I cracked up laughing

I'm not reading the last however many pages since my last post... but I wanted to share some more news with you guys (and gals).

I got a call on Saturday morning from Pop. My other grandmother passed away at 1:00 am Saturday. We're having her funeral today at 3.

    Pray for my family.

Talk about a crappy way to bookend a vacation week. Yesterday, at the viewing, my wife leans over and says to me, "Can we please do something different next weekend?"

Nanna would have appreciated the ensuing chuckle. She was a practical joker from waaaay back. I came about this close (holds up fingers about an inch apart) to sneaking a clown nose on her last night for the family viewing. She would have thought that was funny.

Well... still suffering from the camping trip... ankle, knee and back problems.. ugh... I hate getting old. So now I am sitting here with a back brace on and am feeling a little better.. Decided to dig out a KAI blade. I tried them maybe 9 months ago and thought they were awesome but never ordered any beyond the sampler from dridiot because I then fell in deep with the 7 O'Clock blades (the next I tried in the sampler). Long story short. great shave with the blade. They are as good as I recalled them, which is saying a lot because when I went back and tried Derby, Crystal, Reds, etc... I was disappointed.

Oh well... time to finish unpacking and getting chores caught up then go pick up the dog from the pet resort... Hope I have packages waiting when I get done!

    Well Done!

Sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Good morning all. Not much sleep for this old man last night. Something's burning around here - the skies are a little brown this morning, and it smells kind of like burnt toast outside (I live in wheat country). Today, I'm grateful for air conditioning (again) and for the sample of blue juniper sc that a nice lady sent to me.

Micah, I'm sorry for your loss. You folks will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow Justin, that was weird! :think002 The pictures were all still showing correctly for me, and I thought "Wow, thats an odd tag Justin put up for a flower pic". Then I thought maybe the submarine link broke so I went ahead and d/led the picture and made it an attachment. Popped open IE without it being logged in and saw it was the flower pic of all things was the one that had the stern warning. :happy102 Fixed it now.

    Thanks everyone, for your prayers.

On an up note, I've just put finishing touches on #90 of ONS.

I'm thinking I might just be able to make it to 100, if I try really hard.

Thanks... but maybe I just have something against flowers? :happy102

I sort of fixed my follow up pic then as well.

100 is a good land mark to take a break (if not a total stop). They have been well enjoyed Micah!

all the bacon theme today reminds me...had some awesome BLTs at my parents' yesterday - good, thick bacon; fresh from the garden tomatoes; good green lettuce; awesome awesome. Shark Week on the TV, playing farkle with my wife, mom, sister, and future bro-in-law, good day, despite rain postponement of the race

that is far more accurate...we need to print a bunch of those off and stick them to every one of those machines we come across...brings the added benefit of, when we're in a new town, and we see one of those stickers, we know a member of the TSD brethren/sistren lives nearby :D

I sleep more than I did a month ago.
The days are already getting shorter, and the sun comes up later. Pretty soon it will be dark at 4 o'clock.
