    NCoxSTL AAACK!

That's what we love to hear! It means our little corner of the interwebs is doing its thing. Chris started this thread and was chief cook and bottle washer for the first year and a half or so, then asked me to take over the day to day cat herding and all the other fun stuff. And it is fun. But more than anything it's rewarding to see others improve their shaves and learn all kinds of new gear. It's also rewarding to make friends here that really are friends! It's a unique place and I, for one, am glad you found it and became one of us!

I watched this with my 2 year old--he wants to shave now. Evidently we were both impressed ;)

Gonna be dropping this beat all during March! This version is a bit longer to last the duration of the shave . Play it repeatedly if necessary!
    Epic setup Keith!

I bought Barbasol today. There , I said it!

Toots approved shave ! Great tutorial!

Coming to you from The Great White North via the 30DC, for March Madness appearing nightly the one and only ...DJ El Scratcho. Playing 1 song all month long . I gotta fever...and the only cure is more Pressure Drop . So drop the pressure as you shave along mon!

Last shave of my repeat 30Day rule. Returned the salsa bowls to the cupboard, said good bye to the hot lather , 2 things I was never a big proponent of. But I went 'against the grain ' and gave them a shot.
As you probably know, I will be participating in March madness for more shavette fun. This is the exact way I started out in the 30DC was a rule with same DE , soap, blade and brush , then jumped feet first into 30 days of shavette the 2nd month of my membership.
Hope to see some familiar faces join in and some new guys give the shavette a try! I will even break character and use the 'goo' . Ugh!
Haven't pushed the button on a can of that stuff in over 2 years as it reminds me of expensive carts and half full cans with no propellant left when I was in the middle of a shave . Talk about frustration.
Feel free to roast me if you feel necessary as I have roasted the bowl latherers, bloomers and 'goo' users "in jest" for some time now . I promise I won't cry in my lather as it would be mistaken for "blooming " the soap!

The brush looks fantastic Jason. I trying to be better at ignoring black hairs. My Mondial boar has 2.

I cut off all of the black boar hairs at the base of my Mondial knot. They are scratchy and will not be tolerated.

Here's a tip. Work on a very white towel (helps see the black bristles), use a good pair of tweezers to grab hold of the black bristle and hold on while changing hands to your scissors.
