I cleaned and waxed some of my polished razors this afternoon. They're looking pretty shiny.

The razors look great. You really gave them the spa treatment.

Some strokes, I don't even try to make anymore.

Great thing is, time continues to make things better. And, some days those difficult moves aren't even needed.

    Nice work.

    Good Evening guys!
I decided to make my last shave a headshave. I have been using Cremo to get away from using a brush and soap, but I decided to use Van der Hagen Shea Butter for tonight's shave. I haven't used it for many months and only once or twice for face shaves. Used warm water and rubbed it in for 30 sec. The VDH Shea Butter is not as slick as Cremo, but it slick enough to do the job. Performed the shave with my Rockwell Model T razor loaded with the Rockwell blade at setting 6 (max setting). Three passes and touchups gave me a BBS without any incidents. Splashed the Clubman Lilac Vegetal to finish. Starting tomorrow I will be shavette shaving for the first 2 weeks to support the guys that are going to do it for the entire month, but I will still sprinkle a few more shavette shaves the last 2 weeks as well. Good night fellas!

    Thanks, Clint.
They had some waterspots on them. Cape Cod cloths won't take them off but Flitz does. I'm hoping the wax and the fact that I now wipe my razors down after each use will keep the waterspots at bay.

Thanks, Jim! It is nice to know that I have 2 different brushless creams to use for headshaving. They can be used for face shaving, but I have too many great soaps to use. At last count, I think I have 19, maybe 20.

For me, I enjoyed doing the grilling because it was peaceful and I was able to talk to people one to one at my station. Plastic plates and plastic utensils were used so that there weren't any dishes to wash.

Joseph, I’m honored. You and Bill really post some drool-worthy setups and entertaining rundowns!

    timabababaluka No exceptions. Except.....

Awesome Citrusy/mentholy shave, Bill. When chevyguy asked what AS would go well with the Lemon Chill/Lime combo, I came extremely close to saying "Sprite!" but stopped myself because no one had answered his question yet, and sometimes when questions you ask aren't answered, goofy answers are not quite appreciated. He's onto something, though--sounds wonderful! :D

I like to have folks over.

    That way.....
    I get to cook
    I get to serve
    I get to clean
    I get to pay
I get to see them happy!
    Makes me happy.

I just wipe my non coated razors down until that does not work. Then I put the razors into the hydro sonic cleaner with dawn for several cycles, rinse and wipe dry with a micro fiber cloth. I will give the flitz a try as well.
