  1. fine shave and pics Charlie, good morning..
  2. Beautiful shaves, pics, and watches, Charlie. Hope you enjoyed your trip, and thanks for embarking on the shavette path with me! :)
  3. Can't see Helga anywhere ;)
  4. Excellent 1st shavette shave, Tim! You rode the bucking bull very well out of the gate. It is true that when you get so comfortable that you drop your guard and then disaster strikes. Like I mentioned, there's no shame to use your safety to clean up the missed spots. Eventually, you won't have to do so. The wonderful thing about shavette/straight shaving is that once you master it, you will always want to do so. It is an enjoyable experience. Again, congrats on you excellent 1st shave and I am sure you will have many more in the months ahead.
  5. fine focus Angelo,good morning..

  6. Very nice, Terry! Glad you are joining the shavette fun!
  7. I've heard of people doing that, and I actually have some glycerin.... :think002:

I have used glycerin in my AS (clubman). I forgot who clued me in on that, but it's turned pretty good face feel into pretty great face feel :D
  8. Excellent shave Jim! Happy TSD anniversary!
  9. Nice Charlie!
Good looking shave, including the little travel tech.
I keep one at work with some shave paraphernalia.
I got a few of them around here and give a few away.
They go for 3 to 4 bucks at the junk stores.
Haven't had to use it yet, thankfully.
    The watches, very nice!
Oh, and you could add some cookies to the frozen goodness.

  10. Great shave, Joe!
    Overnight blooming?!? That's next level!
Awesome first shavette shave, Tim! In the beginning I would only use my shavette on weekends. It didn't take long for me to become comfortable enough with it to use it on working days. I never got real good with it but I could get near DFS with two passes and touch up without blood or irritation . I didn't enjoy using it but I stuck with it long enough to prove to myself I could do it.
    Another shavette!
Nice shave, Terry! The walkie talkies sound like a blast! How fun!

  12. Awesome looking set up, Terry! Sorry the shave turned out less desirable than you'd have liked. I suffered pretty severely from issues 2 and 3 myself. BTW, pairing Scots Pine with Ramblin' Man sounds like a winner--wouldn't have thought to do that. :D
  13. Very nice Joe.

Congrats on a successful first outing with the shavette.

Great shave and report Terry. Have fun with the grandkids.

Happy TSD Anniversary Jim. The crew is so much better with you in it. Gorgeous shave and photo. I am sure you'll have the Dart sorted in no time.
  14. Awesome idea Angelo--I'll be following this one pretty closely :D

  20. Thanks, Jim! Every once in a while, I do it and it really gives a great lather. I know Stirling doesn't need to be bloomed, but I like to use the bloom water as a preshave.
